“Suzuki Sunday” Headlines Final Day of AIMExpo presented by Nationwide Debut in Las Vegas

With its west coast debut in Las Vegas, AIMExpo presented by Nationwide is set to provide an array of new experiences for consumer attendees as the anchor of the inaugural Powersports Industry Week℠. Perhaps none of the new features is filled with as much excitement and anticipation as “Suzuki Sunday.”

Suzuki MotoAmerica Team at AIMExpo

Positioned as the culmination of North America’s premier motorcycle and powersports trade show, “Suzuki Sunday” will be a celebration of the iconic Japanese manufacturer, filled with rare and exclusive opportunities for those in attendance.

Fresh off wrapping up its 40th anniversary of superbike racing in America, the legendary Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing team is at the center of it all on “Suzuki Sunday.” The winningest program in AMA Superbike history continues to be a perennial front-runner in MotoAmerica and attendees will have the opportunity to take a rare tour of the pristine million-dollar race rig that serves as the mobile garage throughout the season. Additionally, a special meet and greet with team racers Toni Elias, the 2017 MotoAmerica Champion, and Roger Hayden will provide visitors with a chance to snap a photo and get an autograph. With his recent retirement from competition, fans can also give their own farewell to Hayden.

Off-road fans won’t be left out of “Suzuki Sunday” either, as the supercross/motocross effort from Joe Gibbs Racing will have an equally strong presence. The Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing team riders Weston Peick and international legend Chad Reed will join their road racing counterparts at the meet and greet, fresh off a night of action at the Monster Energy Cup.

Once the meet and greet wraps up, Suzuki will continue the celebration in recognition of the riders that represent the brand on the racetrack with a Rider Wrap-Up Bash. Word is Suzuki has a special surprise in store for this, so you won’t want to miss it!

Throughout the day Suzuki will be hosting giveaways at their booth. This will begin as soon as doors open, with the first 300 guests receiving a commemorative gift, and will continue with some autographed items and other highly desirable pieces of memorabilia for motorcycle enthusiasts. Of course, visitors will also have the opportunity to see, touch and climb aboard Suzuki’s diverse lineup of 2019 vehicles, of both the two and four-wheeled variety for motocross, off-road, dual-sport, and youth segments, including the completely updated RM-Z250.
