AIMExpo is putting the latest innovative products and the people driving powersports businesses center stage with expanded programming on the Starting Line Stage, March 3-5, 2027, in Orlando.
The Starting Line is the official place to kick off three days of business dedicated exclusively to powersports. It’s where attendees get oriented, see what’s new, and shape their AIMExpo experience. It’s also a first look at ideas and opportunities, a place to have meaningful conversations and connect with industry peers.
Attendees will have direct face-to-face access to Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) experts, including Government Relations, Research and Statistics, as well as key MIC partners such as Competitive Analytics and S&P Global Mobility, providing access to industry data, insights and resources throughout the show.
Sponsored by Automatic Distributors, the Starting Line will also feature complimentary coffee throughout the show, helping fuel the connections and opportunities that will happen over the next three days.
Wednesday, March 3: New Product Central
The Starting Line Stage will serve as a launch platform for AIMExpo exhibitors, giving brands an opportunity to introduce new products, innovations, and technologies directly to dealers, media, and industry professionals. The stage will give attendees an efficient way to discover what’s new and it will give exhibitors a high-visibility platform to tell the story behind their latest offerings.
Thursday, March 4 and Friday, March 5: Leadership & Talent Track
The focus shifts from products to people with a full day dedicated to leadership, management, company culture, and talent. In partnership with Motorcycle Industry Jobs, now part of Motorcycle Industry Council, the Starting Line Stage will dig into some of the most important challenges facing powersports businesses today: how to attract great employees, develop strong leaders, build a workplace people want to be part of, and create organizations positioned for long-term success.
“Great products get people excited about powersports, but great people are what move this industry forward,” said Cinnamon Kernes, MIC Vice President of Market Expansion. “That’s what makes this programming such a natural fit for AIMExpo. We’re putting the products everyone wants to see on stage Wednesday, then dedicating Thursday to something every powersports business depends on: the people behind it.”
The Leadership & Talent Track builds on MIC’s acquisition of Motorcycle Industry Jobs and its broader effort to strengthen the powersports workforce by connecting employers with talent and helping businesses prepare the next generation of industry leaders.
“Hiring and retaining the right people continues to be one of the biggest challenges facing powersports businesses,” said Christy LaCurelle, MIC President and CEO. “There’s tremendous talent out there, and we want to help employers understand what today’s candidates are looking for and what makes them stay. AIMExpo gives us a chance to have that conversation directly with the industry.”
The Starting Line Stage sits at the heart of the AIMExpo show floor and will be open to registered AIMExpo attendees. Additional programming and speakers will be announced in the coming months.
