COSTA MESA, CA, SEPT. 16 – For a second successive year, MotoAmerica will show off its champions in a star-studded celebration of the 2016 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Race Series at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, with its Night of Champions again being held in conjunction with America’s premier motorcycle show, AIMExpo.

The 2016 MotoAmerica Champions, their teams and the riders who challenged them for those championships will be honored in an awards ceremony on Friday, October 14 inside the Convention Center. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour, followed by the awards presentation that is set to start at 8 p.m. Exhibitors at the AIMExpo will be admitted free of charge with their exhibitor badges and general admission tickets are also available to the public for $10. Tickets can be purchased at  www.AIMExpoUSA.com.

“We recently finished our second season of MotoAmerica and we’re looking forward to the Night of Champions,” said three-time 500cc World Champion and MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “Last year we had a great time celebrating the championships with the riders, our teams, sponsors and fans and we’re looking forward to an even better time this year. Thanks to the AIMExpo for having us back again. I’m sure it’s going to be a wonderful night and the perfect end to a great season of racing.”

The Night of Champions will feature not only the five champions – Cameron Beaubier (Superbike), Josh Herrin (Bazzaz Superstock 1000), Garrett Gerloff (Supersport), Bryce Prince (Superstock 600) and Brandon Paasch (KTM RC Cup) – but also the top three finishers in each class and the teams that led those champions to their respective titles.
