Dealer Registration Demonstrates Broad Global Reach for AIMExpo Presented by Nationwide Las Vegas Debut
Dealer Representation Includes All 50 States and 43 Different Countries
As North America’s premier trade show for the powersports marketplace, the American International Motorcycle Expo presented by Nationwide (AIMExpo) is where the industry comes together, as trade, media, and consumers prepare to descend on Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Convention Center for the show’s west coast debut October 11-14. This unique distinction is personified by the historic level of dealer participation for this year’s event, with representation from all 50 states and Puerto Rico in addition to a dealer presence from 43 different countries.
With the introduction of the first ever Powersports Industry Week℠, Las Vegas will serve as the destination for upwards of 100,000 motorcycle and powersports enthusiasts from across the country. As its anchor, AIMExpo presented by Nationwide will provide four days of new model and product introductions from the industry’s most well-known brands and manufacturers, along with an array of demo rides and experiences at AIMExpo Outdoors! Attending dealers at the show will be treated to a diverse collection of activities, all of which are targeted at improving their business and facilitating engagement with the industry.
“AIMExpo presented by Nationwide is the conduit to unify all corners of the powersports marketplace. The road to moving forward is by coming together as an industry and working collectively to find new and innovative ways to evolve in today’s business and consumer landscape,” said Larry Little, Vice President and General Manager, MIC Events. “With the move to Las Vegas and the introduction of Powersports Industry Week℠ we have seen an incredible level of interest from dealers from every corner of the U.S. and around the world. It’s a testament to the impact AIMExpo presented by Nationwide has on the industry, and our unwavering commitment to supporting dealers, who serve as the face of the powersports marketplace for the general consumer.”
The centerpiece of dealer engagement at AIMExpo presented by Nationwide is the introduction of Dealer Summit, a key initiative focused on supporting the powersports retailer. Registered dealers will unite alongside their industry peers for an array of opportunities that will emphasize the vital role retailers play in the long-term growth of the marketplace. The Department of Interior’s Senior National Advisor to the Secretary for Recreation, Rick May, will kick things off by addressing attending dealers and the rest of the industry with a keynote address, focusing on the current administration’s commitment to increased outdoor recreation, which serves as a critical area of long-term growth potential for powersports.
Additionally, the “Dealers Only Luncheon presented by KTM” will provide an exclusive opportunity for retailers to receive some invaluable insight and practical ways to enhance the customer experience. Motorcycle enthusiast Nick Gray, founder of Museum Hack, has successfully reimagined the generally staid museum experience into an engaging experience that caters to the millennial audience, and he will provide attendees with various ways to make the dealership visit more engaging for customers.
More ideas and knowledge for any dealer’s business will also be presented at the annual Powersports DEALER Seminars @ AIMExpo presented by Powersports Business. This initiative will provide a valuable lineup of strategic presentations that are designed to bolster dealership profitability and business through crucial education and best practices. Influential speakers from both within and outside the industry will present across three major topic areas critical to any dealership – Sales and Marketing, Powering Profits, and Leadership Plus.
All dealer engagement at AIMExpo presented by Nationwide is provided at absolutely no cost to registered attendees.
“The role of AIMExpo as part of the Motorcycle Industry Council is to leverage the show platform to move the industry forward. We are committed to supporting dealers, and we have made a concerted effort to develop programs and activities to benefit their efforts as small businesses,” continued Little. “With their direct engagement with consumers, dealers play an integral role in the future success of the powersports marketplace. Also, by attending the show, the industry also gets to hear from dealers about what is important, and where we can better support their efforts.”
