IRVINE, Calif., August 12, 2025 — For the first time ever, AIMExpo will run alongside the kickoff of the 2026 Monster Energy SMX World Championship and Round 1 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season, bringing together two of the industry’s most iconic events for one unforgettable week in Anaheim.
AIMExpo 2026 takes place January 7–9 at the Anaheim Convention Center, with Supercross Round 1 set for Saturday night at Angel Stadium. The alignment links the business of powersports with the thrill of competition, bringing it all together in one high-energy week.

“It’s not often that the entire powersports industry can get together, so when we do, the AIMExpo team wants to make sure it’s electric,” said Andre Albert, Director of Marketing and Events for the Motorcycle Industry Council. “This collaboration with Round 1 of Supercross, the most iconic race of the year, brings two major forces together in a way that’s never been done before, giving the whole industry more reasons to get excited and show up.”
The collaboration with Feld Motor Sports reflects a growing demand for immersive, industry-wide experiences and a drive to do meaningful business while staying rooted in the powersports lifestyle that draws so many to the industry.

“Feld is a huge part of our industry,” Albert said. “Not only is Supercross a cultural cornerstone of motorcycling, it’s where we can see our vehicles, parts, and accessories being put to use at the highest levels. For the industry to witness products go from exhibit floor to racetrack in the same few days – that’s a rare showcase of the full powersports ecosystem.”
“There’s no better way to kick off the 2026 season than with AIMExpo and the support of the powersports industry in Anaheim,” said Dave Prater, Vice President, Supercross. “We’re excited to connect with so many industry professionals during this important week, and look forward to hosting invited AIMExpo exhibitors and attendees for an exclusive Friday night event where they can get up close and personal with Supercross.”
“This is what makes AIMExpo more than a trade show,” said Cinnamon Kernes, MIC’s Vice President of Market Expansion. “We’ve worked hard to create an experience that connects the dots between business, culture, and community, and that’s what this event delivers.”
