In this AIMExpo Show Daily Preview Edition, we’ll look at the exhibitors who will soon spread out across more than 225,000 square feet inside the Las Vegas Convention Center, displaying the latest powersports machines, accessories, gear, parts, and services.
And we’ll cover the Disruptive Thinking education lineup, featuring a wide range of experienced, veteran experts from across the powersports spectrum, who will be there on stage for three days, sharing valuable insights and everyday best practices to help drive profits and sales success.
The entire AIMExpo staff is looking forward to hosting visitors and partners from around the country and around the world at the biggest annual powersports industry gathering in America, to work on generating great business for 2024, and to have some fun in one of the most exciting cities anywhere.
Inside the Las Vegas Convention Center, AIMExpo 2024 will feature more than 370 exhibitors, including nearly 20 OEMs, and major distributors including Automatic Distributors, Drag Specialties, Parts Unlimited, Turn 14 Distribution, and Rocky Mountain ATV/MC.
“We’re expecting nearly 2,000 dealers from across the nation and many are already registered for AIMExpo, set to take advantage of the opportunity to meet and talk with leaders and staff from over 20 OEMs and more than 350 aftermarket brands,” said Andre Albert, MIC director of marketing and events. “Many of the giants of powersports distributing will be there on the show floor, plus so many companies offering thousands of products and services. For many of our show attendees, this will be their first opportunity to learn about everything available, and what’s to come for 2024, live and in person.”
Motorcycle & Powersports News and AIMExpo are partnering to bring the most engaging and actionable education sessions yet to the Disruptive Thinking stage. Key subjects will include training and talent; finance and insurance; parts, garments, and accessories; and marketing.
“We put the dealer first at MPN and these educational panels will reflect that in the topics covered and in the companies and people we have on the stage with us,” said Greg Jones, content director, Power and Performance Group, MPN. “It is important to us that we help deliver content dealers want and need for the Disruptive Thinking stage. Make sure you’re in attendance and ready to expand on your dealership practices.”
The Disruptive Thinking education series, free for all AIMExpo attendees, will run all three days on the show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Attendees will benefit from:

The AIMExpo Keynote Speakers: David Savlowitz and Michael Ponton
Unleashing “Blue Ocean” Success
David Savlowitz and Michael Ponton of Competitive Analytics will deliver the keynote address, “Navigating New Horizons: Unleashing Success with Blue Ocean Strategy,” all about sustainable, long-term growth and finding untapped consumers, up on the Disruptive Thinking stage on Tuesday, February 6, at 5:15 pm.
“The transformative power of blue ocean strategy is essential for achieving unparalleled success,” Savlowitz said. “Currently, many industries and businesses operate in ‘red oceans,’ where merciless competition turns the ocean blood red. But ‘blue oceans’ have vast, uncharted possibilities that can lead to profits and opportunities for all. In a rapidly evolving economic and business landscape, the need for innovation and differentiation has never been more crucial. AIMExpo brings competitors and colleagues together under one roof at one time with a singular goal of continuous improvement to move the industry forward – we do this together.”
“Savlowitz and Ponton are both extremely knowledgeable about our space and recognized leaders in business strategy and economics,” said Erik Pritchard, MIC president and CEO. “Their insights and ideas will help all of us level up our business strategies.”

The MIC has a lot to offer members – far-ranging benefits, not only for companies, but for powersports as a whole. With legislative matters, with public land issues, businesses do much better standing together as one powerful industry force.
We support MIC members through regular communication about our tangible membership benefits: advocacy, industry research, market expansion through Ride With Us, as well as our online symposiums that provide professional development opportunities and keen insights on industry trends.
Exhibitor Credit – Those who are in Las Vegas next month and renew booth space for the 2025 show will receive a $300 per-booth credit with a maximum up to 60 percent of their total dues.
Lunch & Learns – All MIC members are invited to join us in the Business Center for free Lunch & Learns, noontime on Tuesday and Wednesday at the show. Key MIC staff and association partners will share information on valuable benefits that members may not even know about, and complimentary lunch will be served.
Tuesday will feature Scott Schloegel, MIC senior vice president at the Government Relations Office, discussing key legislative issues and action items for 2024, as well as association accomplishments on Capitol Hill and across the country. He’ll be joined by Tim Calhoun, chair of the MIC Aftermarket Committee, speaking about the importance of member involvement and feedback for the MIC staff.
On Wednesday, David Savlowitz, CEO and founder of Competitive Analytics, will talk about unlocking the power of timely, accurate data, and he’ll introduce a new way to build better teams – both providing profitable business advantages.
MIC members will have complimentary access to the conveniently located MIC Business Center, featuring workstations, device charging, printers, meeting rooms, storage, and a lounge with beverages and lunch.
AIMExpo attendees who are not yet MIC members are invited to contact and meet with MIC staff inside the Business Center, Tuesday through Thursday. Our industry thrives on competition and is built on having a good time – the SUPER73 Industry E-Bike Throwdown is going to be the perfect combination for all-out fun. Dealers, exhibitors, media, and industry leaders will all be racing for industry-wide bragging rights in the final race.
The Throwdown will take place on the AIMExpo indoor e-bike track starting at 6 pm on Tuesday, February 6. It will consist of four classes: Dealers, Exhibitors, Media, and a surprise class that will be announced closer to race night. Each class will race in brackets with the top rider in each race advancing to the next round, ultimately competing in a winner-take-all Throwdown. To help ensure an equal playing field, the e-bikes will be provided. Competitors will need to wear appropriate gear, including helmets.
Entries are limited and registering does not guarantee a grid position. Riders will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
The e-bike market is growing fast. This additional category within powersports is set to grow from $49.7 billion in 2022 to $80.6 billion by 2027. To help support this growth and integration into the powersports industry, AIMExpo will have two indoor e-bike demo tracks: one for Turn 14 Distribution brands and one for additional participating companies.
New products are what drive our industry. To help highlight the latest products, AIMExpo will host a centralized place on the floor for new products – New Product Central. NPC will have some of the latest products on display as well as a new product presentation stage where participating brands can show and talk about their latest products with our New Product Host. All dealers and media are encouraged to attend the presentations scheduled during all three days of the show.
