As if there already isn’t enough excitement surrounding AIMExpo presented by Nationwide’s move to Columbus this fall, the show itself and several exhibiting industry’s friends will be celebrating notable anniversaries, adding even more anticipation to September’s event.

It’s hard to imagine, but AIMExpo presented by Nationwide turns five in 2017! This notable milestone nicely complements the show’s move to Columbus which positions “The Powersports Expo” right in the heart of the densest population of dealers and consumers – 41% and 50%, respectively, reside within 500 miles of Columbus.  With that ease of accessibility, enthusiasts of both the business and sport are expected to come out in the biggest numbers yet to see the latest the industry has to offer.

This September will also mark the two year anniversary of the Motorcycle Industry Council’s acquisition of AIMExpo presented by Nationwide. The trade association tasked to preserve, protect and defend the business of motorcycling and the greater powersports industry is the perfect home for the platform that showcases the best of the American market and unites the industry annually.

While the show’s fifth year is big news, considerable attention should also be given to the handful of exhibitors and dealers celebrating their own milestones in Columbus. Perhaps the most impressive is the 105th anniversary of A.D. Farrow Co. Harley-Davidson. This hometown dealership and MIC Dealer Member, with multiple locations throughout the downtown and greater Columbus region, is a valued partner of AIMExpo presented by Nationwide and holds the prestigious distinction of being the oldest continuously-operated Harley-Davidson dealer in the country!

National Cycle is also celebrating a significant milestone, having been in the business of creating and supplying motorcycle accessories to the industry for 80 years!  A Legacy exhibitor that has been with AIMExpo presented by Nationwide since the start, the family owned and operated company is still based where it began just a few hundred miles from Columbus in Maywood, Illinois. National Cycle is best known for its aftermarket line of windshields for all manner of powersports vehicles and is also a key supplier to many OEM’s for their factory windshields.

Another Legacy exhibitor, Spectro Oils, celebrated its half-century mark as a company in 2016. The performance oil company turned 50 last year, but the anniversary celebration will continue all the way to September’s show as the Connecticut-based brand kicks off another successful 50 years in business!

Last, but certainly not least, is the 30th anniversary of Automotive Finance Corporation (AFC). The financing solutions provider is yet another Legacy exhibitor and will share in the celebration at the Greater Columbus Convention Center by reaching its own multi-decade milestone.

These are just a few of the Legacy companies we’re proud to showcase as part of American industry who will join us in Columbus.  With so many achievements from so many participants, the celebratory buzz is sure to be in the air this September, setting the stage for the most memorable AIMExpo presented by Nationwide yet!
